You NEED this holiday season to be really good! We've got your life raft. [and you don’t even have to pay for it]How do you get on board before the ship sails? Simple. Send us [post it on our facebook wall ] a video by midnight on Halloween (10.31) showing us why you need to be patched up and rescued. The most entertaining [read: best effort] will win! WHO CAN ENTER:You are a local retailer : you own or run a business in central virginia that has products for sale and a physical store location. [sorry, no service providers] WHAT THE WINNER GETS:PRINT ADVERTISING:3 CUSTOM DESIGNED ads, creating a nice BIG campaign targeted at HOOK readers. Speaking of The Hook, you don’t have to pay to run these ads! The Hook will run each ad once - so thats 3 ads FREE during prime time shopping season! SOCIAL MEDIA & WEB ADVERTISING {GET ONLINE}:
THE RULESThere is no purchase or promise of future business required. We’re just in the holiday spirit and we were taught to share! Entrants must meet the definition of a retailer listed above. All entries must be in the form of a video (simple flip cam or iPhone footage is fine!) and must be submitted by midnight on October 31, 2010. We aren’t responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Entertain us. The best effort wins and decisions are final. The prize is not redeemable in cash. If you already have a part of the package (for example, a facebook page) we will simply remove that part of the package. The winner must be available to meet with us during the week of November 1st to start planning your campaign. By submitting a video to us, all entrants and the winner are granting us (Garnet Marketing & Watermark Design) permission to publish or use the video in any way that we see fit. This includes posting it on our websites and social media accounts. All entrants agree to use the designs provided for the print ads and social media customization. Don’t worry, we will get plenty of input from you and the look will be cool. Only one entry per business. |
